INTROThe library project in the high mountains of Andalusia preserves records and copies of scientific and cultural achievements important to mankind. The project aims to safeguard important aspects of world culture and literature from future natural and man-made calamities. In the aftermath of a global societal collapse, the project will be prepared to reintroduce lostknowledge. The library project seeks to record and continuously update the essence of human culture in its many forms. It is in no sense a time capsule, but rather an updated record of life on earth in its broad spectrum of: art, science, technology, spirituality, history, philosophy, and all that constitutes the sum of human culture. Today the project houses hundreds of books, documents, maps, and even some cultural artifacts. The library project hopes to stand as a visible and inspiring symbol of the human aspirations, promoting art, science and spirituality, emphasizing awareness as a core theme.
