SEND A BOOK

The SOL library mission is to secure that the knowledge essential to civilization's recovery after a societal collapse will be available when it is needed. To this end, we propose that you select two books as a legacy for the future. The first book should be a reference book relating to your profession; that way you can pass on the knowledge of the field you know best. The second might be anything. It could be a book about history, art, religion, science, poetry, philosophy, or even fiction. Treat each book with insecticide, write even a personal note in it, wrap it in several layers of plastic and foil and label the package well. Then send it to our office in Spain, where it will be handled and distributed to one of our cooperating high mountain Culture Arks. Maybe, someday, we'll all be glad you did.
